Sintra has five monuments that most visitors want to see, run by two different bodies, with different ticket offices and prices. This page puts the official prices next to the prices of the tickets sold by our partner Tiqets, says what each Tiqets ticket includes and explains the two cases where the choice is less obvious: Pena and Quinta da Regaleira. We read the official sites on 22 October 2026, and prices can change.

Pena: Essential or Complete
The Essential Visit takes you through the New Palace, the representative wing built by Ferdinand II, plus the terraces, the whole park and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. The Complete Visit adds the private apartments in the old monastery wing, in groups of up to 20 people at six set times a day: 11:15, 14:15, 15:00, 15:45, 16:15 and 17:00 on the official site.
In both cases the palace is visited at a fixed date and time. On the official site you can change the date and time online until 18:00 on the day before, within 365 days. Tiqets tickets for Pena carry no cancellation, so check the date before you pay.
Quinta da Regaleira has its own ticket office
The Fundação Cultursintra, which runs the Quinta, says that the only official online ticket office is regaleira.byblueticket.pt and that it is not responsible for tickets bought on other sites. The official adult ticket is 20 euros; the audio guide is 5 euros more and is sold only at the ticket office, so 25 euros in total.
Tiqets sells a different product: a timed ticket with a digital audio guide, at 28 euros. It is a ticket sold by Tiqets, not by the Quinta’s ticket office. It can be cancelled up to 24 hours before your slot, while the official ticket admits you up to one hour after your slot and allows no refund, change or extension. Compare the two and choose the one that suits you. The aquarium has been closed for restoration since 16 April 2026, even if some ticket descriptions still mention it.
